Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor�s degree or higher from an accredited institution, specializing in General Sciences
- Ontario College of Teachers certification, or equivalent, with I/S qualifications in General Science
- Minimum three years of teaching experience preferred
- Experience in and knowledge of IB is a strong asset
- Strong curriculum development skills and assessment practices incorporating strategies relevant to the age and stage assessment practices
- A relational educator who integrates Social-Emotional Learning and emotional coaching strategies in their practice
- Experience and commitment to integrating DEI principles into curriculum development and teaching practice
- Knowledge of relevant technology and ability to work in a laptop and online environment
- Proficient in leveraging technology to deliver education programs and communicate with students, parents, colleagues, and the community at large
- Belief in and alignment with Branksome Hall�s mission, vision, and values
- Passionate about teaching and serving students and the community
- Capable of working independently with little direct supervision and as a collaborative team member
