Body Shop Helper


We are a major domestic car dealer, we are expanding and looking for a junior Automotive Body Technician to join our team.

This position will require you to perform collision repairs, restoration, modifications, and weather damage repair.

As our company's technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all repairs meet manufacturer requirements, safety procedures and customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Learn to identify repairs and damaged areas on vehicles
  • Assist and Learn by performing repairs on customer vehicles
  • Assist in repairing collisiondamaged vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and company quality standards
  • Paint Preparation
  • Painting experience would be an asset
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs
  • Help maintain and clean shop equipment
  • Assist other employees as needed
  • Follow workplace safety requirements

Body Shop Helper Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalently
  • Experience in auto body would be an asset.
  • Must be able to lift objects that weigh as much as 50 pounds
  • Able to bend, climb, reach, kneel, etc. for extended periods
  • Prepared to get additional certification/training as needed
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable, selfmotivated, and great attention to detail
  • Understanding of automotive airconditioning systems
Ability to work after hours and/or weekends

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$15.00-$20.00 per hour
