Your role as Assistant Controller is to support operations in the accounting cycle for all companies within the Cisolift Group.

Your contribution to the company's success will involve tasks such as:

  • Conducting balance sheet and results analyses at month-end for all group companies;
  • Preparing month-end journal entries, tax reports, tire reports, and provisional payments;
  • Ensuring balance and accounting of purchases and sales in the accounting software, as well as managing equipment and parts inventories;
  • Monitoring equipment receipts and validating incurred expenses;
  • Tracking and invoicing operations between related companies;
  • Performing bank reconciliations;
  • Managing company vehicle lease contracts and real estate leases;
  • Monitoring ongoing work and discount accounts;
  • Providing support to the accounting team, addressing issues, identifying errors, and making necessary corrections;
  • Conducting consignment reconciliations;
  • Participating in daily and monthly operational accounting team meetings;
  • Producing performance indicator tables;
  • Assisting department colleagues with various projects as needed;
  • Any other related tasks.

What we are looking for in our future colleagues:

  • Relevant accounting education (Bachelor's or College Diploma in Accounting);
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
  • Bilingual in English and French (an asset);
  • Excellent proficiency in common computer software;
  • Strong computer and data entry skills, including the ability to use accounting software;
  • Analytical and logical approach to accounting operations;
  • Keen attention to detail and quick problem-solving abilities;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Time management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work in a team.
