WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Document current processes and workflows for all organizational programs and maintain documentation of administrative and clinical workflows and processes.
  • Collaborate with the team and vendor for the planning, project scheduling and coordination for new and ongoing CIS projects.
  • Create testing regime, determine sample size, and establish success criteria for Change Requests, feature releases and bug fixes.
  • Collect information and scope out specifications with key stakeholders to create customized reports and forms using standard tools within CIS and other applicable tools.
  • Liaise with internal employees and/or external partners to coordinate data submissions to the Ministry of Health by following the standard organizational practices maintaining strict adherence to deadlines, and followup timely to investigate errors and exceptions in the submissions.

THE "MUST HAVES"
The following education, professional memberships and knowledge are a requirement for this role:

  • Completion of College or University Degree in Information Technology related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience.
  • Sound knowledge of multitier product architecture, SaaS, IaaS, communications protocols, and database concepts and best practices.
  • Sound knowledge of

Enterprise Infrastructure:
Virtualization, Server, Networks, SAN.

  • Understanding of Privacy legislation (PHIPA, PIPEDA).
  • Strong communication, customerservice, and interpersonal skills in a userfacing role.
  • Ability to be productive independently and in a collaborative team environment while managing one's time effectively.
  • Proven selfstarter with sound judgment and prioritization abilities with evidence of innovative thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability for critical and logical thinking.
  • Diplomacy, tact and ability to negotiate deliverables with users, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan highly complex projects and successfully follow through on deliverables.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple conflicting demands.
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive issues in a professional manner.
  • Adaptable and responsive in a fastpaced work environment.

  • Awareness and understanding of the necessity of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and within the community being served by the position.
  • An understanding of Anti-Black Racism, antioppressive/antiracism perspective in the context of the social determinants of health when working with clients and their families.
  • Ability to recognize and identify situations where incidents of and imbalance of power and privilege may occur and can result in possible negative impacts for service users.
  • Prior experience in the notforprofit sector.
