Our client, a forward-thinking leader in digital innovation in the finance industry, is seeking a talented UX Designer to join their team for a 12-month contract in Toronto.

As the UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their suite of products, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of their customers.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Challenge conventional thinking through critical, analytical, and creative approaches.
  • Create relevant design artifacts across the spectrum of fidelity levels, from low to high.
  • Partner with the UX Research team to gain deep insights into user needs and pain points.
  • Present design work with clarity, ensuring alignment with experience objectives and outcomes.
  • Facilitate or cofacilitate discovery, ideation, and cocreation workshops to drive innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Take accountability for the design process, leading efforts independently or in collaboration with other designers.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Development partners to prioritize usercentered design decisions.
  • Engage with UX Design leadership, stakeholders, and business leaders to drive design efforts towards achieving desired outcomes.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Product Designer, preferably in a fastpaced, agile environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a track record of designing successful digital products.
  • Expertise in usercentered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Degree or Diploma in UX Design
