Hourly Rate of $17.00
This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for children. The position assists with supervising the children in the daycare Centre.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Assist with a daily program encouraging growth in all 5 developmental areas for children in the Centre; plan activities and implement programs
  • Ensures all activities including lunch, rest time, outdoor play and ski lessons are being properly supervised;
  • Maintains a clean child care that is free of potentially harmful elements; checks outdoor playground for potentially harmful elements;
  • Records any incidents of a health and safety nature in log in the centre; reports such incidents to the Manager;
  • Actively participates in resort recreation activities with the children in the centre; some lifting required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ECE Diploma or equivalent is an asset
  • Experience working with children in a group environment is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Successful applicants (18 yrs or older) will be required to provide a Criminal Background Check (Vulnerable Sector Search)
