The Rich Uncle Tavern's Bar Lead will coordinate and oversee the activities within the bar as well as monitor fellow bar team members.

They are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bar, while tending to guests on the floor. They report directly to the General Manager.

Job Duties:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities within operation.
  • Responsible for overseeing bar team members within the location.
  • Perform bar opening/ closing.
  • Perform bar orientation of new bar staff
  • Conduct Beverage Inventory on the biweekly basis.
  • Develop and maintain opening and closing duties within the bar area with the assistance of the GM.
  • Monitor staffing levels and report to Manager any changes that may be required
  • Ensure adherence to Ignite Group of Brands standards
  • Ensure all proper bar specs and required AGCO postings are posted behind the bar.
  • Ensure reports are completed for all occupational/ nonoccupational illness or injury, inventory, invoices, transfers and other operational areas
  • Ensure proper use, storage and handling of chemical onsite
  • Ensure daily temperature logs are kept on fridges and freezers and dishwasher with assistance from the culinary team
  • Responsible for ordering beverage product for The Rich Uncle Tavern.
  • Ensure cleanliness of Bar Operations
  • Monitor cash handling procedures
  • Balance cash float and verify deposit on the daily.
  • Handle customer service complaints with assistance from Manager
  • Ensure adherence to all Ignite Group of Brands Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure adherence to Ignite Group of Brands Health and Safety Policy

Employment Requirements:

  • Some secondary school education
  • SmartServe Certified
  • 1 2 years' experience in the food service industry
  • Strong customer service skills
  • First Aid Certified
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Cash handling skills
  • Working knowledge of production process and sheets
  • Good organization skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
