The applicant must remain current with all mandatory training requirements as set out by the employer and the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.

Intervention, Indigenous communities, Developmental Disabilities, Dual Diagnosis,
Mental Health, Behavior Interventions, Court Diversion. Training in Mental Health First
Aid, NVCI is preferred.

Details of the position include but are not limited to:

  • Independent Living Skills, Cooking, Cleaning, Laundry, Shopping
  • Support with Court and Court Diversion
  • Referrals to appropriate services CMHA
  • Networking with Indigenous Communities
  • Creating Independent Support Plans, PIO, Safety Plans
  • Looking at Inter and Intrapersonal Skills
  • Gain confidence in navigating their community.
  • Support or administer medications based on persons in the home and comfort level and capabilities.
The start date for this position is to be determined and hours are fixed Monday to Friday 3pm-11pm.
