We are looking for a QA Tester to work with one of our clients based in Montreal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contributing to the regression testing approach, which encompasses 3rd party product releases, and supporting the supplier management process.
  • Playing an active role in the 3rd party product acceptance process.
  • Identifying, reporting, and monitoring defects (deficiencies), and conducting retests after the correction of such defects.
  • Assessing the severity of deficiencies based on their potential business impacts on integration testing progression and proposing appropriate actions.

PROFILE

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of professional experience.
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as Xray, JIRA, and Smart Bear.
  • Proficiency in developing and integrating custom software and integration programs using an Agile methodology, covering the entire lifecycle from architecture design, development, integration, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Knowledgeable in complex data modeling and proficient in asset and inventory management practices.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Familiarity with the railroad industry, preferably in reservation systems or critical and complex systems like train routing systems.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English, as the role involves collaborating with resources outside of Quebec.
  • Adherence to the company's policies regarding a hybrid work model, which includes both inperson and teleworking arrangements for consultants.

  • Having been exposed to the rail network planning for example having been exposed to the transition to critical systems, critical data migration.
