The Retail Risk Analytics Engineering (RRAE) team supports various stakeholders Global Risk Management (GRM) - Risk Models and Analytics Team, Regulatory Capital, IFRS9 provisioning & Enterprise stress Testing team in the implementation of regulatory and non-regulatory initiatives, utilizing both Agile and Waterfall approaches.

RRAE team is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with 1-2 years of practical development experience and technical capabilities to navigate and drive resolution of complex business problems.

The role will require liaising with stakeholders on business initiatives, delivering solutions to meet the needs of multiple lines of business stakeholders, and managing medium to large projects, and providing ongoing support.

The candidate must have strong organizational, oral & written communication skills, with hands on experience in execution of all key phases on project lifecycle (e.g. requirements gathering, documentation, design and development, testing, implementation).

The incumbent will have a minimum of 1-2 years of strong data analytics skills capabilities using SQL, understanding data models.

Ability to develop in languages such as SQL, SAS, Python and ability to self-learn new technologies/tools is a big plus.

Support application month-end and quarter-end batch processing end-to-end including monitoring and investigation related to risk model calculations and Capital/Regulatory reporting.

Proactively learn about application, IT processes, and research on new technology.
The candidate is also expected to write technical and business requirements, user guides, operational documentation, etc.
Strong testing (QA) abilities to be able to ensure testing coverage for new requirements and changes.

Strong data analytic skillset is a must, combined with SQL for the purpose of data solutioning, testing/validation and gap analysis.

Self starter, and passion for driving teams towards high performance and a deep pride in providing high quality results.

Effective organizational skills, with working knowledge of project planning and project management to assume end-to-end ownership of a project and responsibility for the related project deliverables.

Technical skillset
Strong SQL and Python capabilities

Database Systems:
Hive/Hadoop/MINIO, DB2 and SQL Server
JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint
