We are continuing to grow at an increasingly fast pace both domestically and internationally, and are now seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fraud, Risk and Chargeback Analyst, with a strong track record in Fraud and Risk Management, to join our growing Payment Operations team.


What your team does:


The Payment Operations team, led by the Director of Payment Operations, is one of Clio's fastest growing departments, responsible for the rapid scaling of its Clio Payments product throughout North America, and Clio's broader international footprint The team is responsible for the entire customer journey - from client intake and onboarding, day to day account management, through to dispute resolution and fraud and credit monitoring.


Payment Operations is a critical function sitting within the broader COO organization at Clio, which is focused on driving results for the company through strategic, operational, and data-driven improvements.


Who you are:


We are looking for a forward-thinker who is data savvy and can comfortably interpret quantitative and qualitative information to support the ongoing review and daily monitoring of the fraud and risk management landscape and support customer chargebacks.


What you'll work on:

  • Fraud and risk alerts monitoring, making timesensitive decisions relating to customer restrictions, requiring sound judgment related to customer impacts and potential loss.
  • Conducting investigations on suspicious activity, including making recommendations based on findings.
  • Supporting customer chargebacks, working directly with businesses to help win chargebacks and reduce chargeback frequency.
  • Partner with internal teams to build best in class fraud and chargeback product solutions.
  • Recommend technology and process improvements to help the team maintain a high degree of efficiency.
  • Create and deliver reports, dashboards and ad hoc analysis as it relates to fraud and chargebacks.

What you may have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Science, Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years risk, fraud or chargeback management experience, preferably within the payment card industry in Fintech.
  • Familiarity with riskbased transaction monitoring systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and discern trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain a very high attention to detail.
  • Good judgment and demonstrated sound decisionmaking skills, with a proactive approach to problemsolving.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to adapt to change in a highgrowth business environment and work independently.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrated customer centric approach.
  • Strong computer skills, with advanced skills in Excel mandatory.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with SQL is mandatory.

Serious bonus points if you have:

  • A proven track record of working in financial technology companies.
  • Experience working with Stripe and Stripe Radar, Seon, Sift, Trulioo or similar.
  • Fluency in French.
  • Additional coding languages, such as python.
