Markham, Ontario, Canada GEI Consultants Inc. Full time

GEI is seeking established Professionals who can contribute to the continued growth within GEI's land development infrastructure and water resources team and are interested in working collaboratively with a talented team of design, management, and technical leaders. This position will support GEI's land development engineering practice in our Markham, Ontario office, which provides services in a wide range of settings. Representative projects for the land development and civil site design for residential, industrial, commercial, and municipal sites.

  • Manage large scale residential and ICI developments from block plans and preliminary design through construction and assumption
  • Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering design for various Land Development projects
  • Coordinate with and utilize technical resources within the land development group as projects demand
  • Preparation and review of Engineering drawings sets, technical memos, reports, construction plans and specifications
  • Manage other GEI disciplines including Geotechnical, Hydrogeological, Ecology, Environmental as required on complex multi-disciplinary projects

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years minimum industry experience
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
  • Experience with managing residential subdivision and/ or ICI developments
  • Experience with writing and reviewing technical reports
  • Excellent communication skills including chairing technical and client meetings and executing presentations.
  • Experienced with standard analysis programs, Microsoft office programs, and other associated programs is desired
