About the Role:

As Communications Specialist, you are a compelling storyteller.

Supporting integrated communications strategies, your work involves internal journalism, creating impactful content for our Product team, and ensuring information is shared with our employees in a timely and intentional way.


Operating with a global mindset, you know that communication plays a crucial role in employee engagement and you're always looking at new ways to innovate in this space.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support business objectives through strategic and impactful internal communications for a global audience including (but not limited to) weekly newsletters, videos, change presentations and speaking notes, editorial stories and intranet blog posts.
  • Package communications in a clear and visual way through engaging presentations and visuals
  • Partner crossfunctionally with teams and leaders across the Product business
  • Create and execute project plans, timelines, and defined deliverables that shape our culture, drive internal engagement, and deliver results
  • Deliver a weekly Product newsletter
  • Create weekly original content that highlights different initiatives from across the Product team in a compelling and journalistic style
  • Support the creation and execution of a Product Engagement communications strategy
  • Continually improve, measure, and evaluate effectiveness of employee communications strategy and methods
  • Manage and contribute to a communications and events calendar
  • Support with virtual event production
  • Manage and drive engagement of intranet

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Have a postsecondary degree in Communications, Journalism or related field, and three (3) to five (5) years professional experience in internal/corporate/employee communications
  • Outstanding writer and storyteller with a talent for crafting a range of content including technical, change communications and inspirational
  • Video editing and production skills
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Experience in a fastpaced and unpredictable environment; ability to work well under tight timelines
  • Ability to work effectively and collaborate within a team
  • Graphic and web design skills an asset
  • Experience working with global teams is an asset
