TEMPORARY SCHOOL ATHLETICS COORDINATOR

LOCATION:

Board Administration Office, Pembroke

HOURS PER WEEK:

Varies as required, 10 months per year

SUMMARY:

The Temporary School Athletics Coordinator will support and assist the Program Services department with scheduling and convening extra-curricular sports at Secondary Schools.

RATE OF PAY:

$15,000.00 per annum

TERM:

Approximately September 1, June 30, 2025 (For the school year)

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

? Post- Secondary degree/diploma in a related field;

? At least five years experience in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered;

? Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, meet project deadlines and superior administrative skills;

? Excellent organizational, coordination and communication skills;

? Ability to efficiently support scheduling, transportation and other last minute changes;

? Strong computer skills including: Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PPT, Outlook);

? Valid Class G Driver's license required.

Duties:

? Schedule and convene extra-curricular sports;

? Provide statistics to local media, schedule referees, arrange payment of referees and entry fees;

? Provide relevant information to the schools within the U.O.V.H.S.A.A.;

? Maintain and update website for athletics;

? Other related duties as assigned;

? Travel throughout the Board's jurisdiction required with occasional travel to meetings throughout the province. Travel will be reimbursed in accordance with Board policies.

Hiring will follow the requirements outlined in RCDSB Administrative Procedures.
