We are looking for a Laundry Aide to join our amazing team in one of our beautiful long-term care facilities.

Previous experience in a long term care facility or with the senior community is _ preferred _ but not required

Position details:
Casual

Compensation:
$26.18 per hour

Responsibilities:
Pick up of all soiled Laundry from each House.
Sort and wash Laundry using approved methods,chemicals and protective equipment.
Dry Laundry using Commercial dryers.
Fold laundry and sort to respective carts.
Label by using electric label maker.
Wash,sort and re- distribute all personal laundry.
Maintain a tidy and safe work area.
Maintain the cleanliness of the dryers and washing machines.
Maintain records as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Food Safe certificate
WHIMS certificate.
Excellent communication skill
Cultural education and experience are preferred
