The Community Manager, Office Assets, will provide input into the development of the Office property; community outreach activities, client engagement activities/events, communications, initiatives and lead the implementation of the property community engagement strategy designed to support property objectives.

This role will report directly with the Vice President (VP), Office Operations and will work closely with the VP, Office Leasing, and the local property teams to maximize tenant engagement, community relevance, and market awareness.

This position is located in Vancouver, BC.

_What you will deliver:
_


  • Partner with the Property teams and VP, Office Leasing to develop local community (community = tenant, broker, broader community) initiatives and activities that are relevant to clients.
  • Liaise with Cadillac Fairview's (CF's) Social Media and Corporate Communications teams in the development of local marketing programs.
  • Provide input into the communications strategy creative, production and media planning for initiatives related to the Office asset class.
  • Implement local engagement strategies, tactics, and programs by planning and facilitating the activities in conjunction with the General Manager in order to deliver meaningful business results.
  • Manage the budget by developing the annual event/marketing budget and monitoring expenditures on a monthly basis to ensure financial resources are utilized in the most fiscally responsible manner.
  • Ensure engagement activities align with the brand strategy of the property.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for cost saving/efficiencies.
  • Responsible for reporting on as well as providing insights, interpretation, and analysis on key metrics to measure the performance of engagement activities and the overall annual plan.
  • Prepare pre and post event analysis, assess opportunities and make recommendations for improving service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with the VP, Office Leasing and General Manager to maintain an ongoing dialog with office clients for relationship management and codevelopment of engagement programs. Acts as a liaison with community outreach programs.
  • Facilitate client relationships by actively encouraging client participation in the marketing of the property.
  • Provide exceptional client service support through proactive solutions and timely responses to relevant comments and mitigation of any potential issues and risks.
  • Leverage opportunities for partnership solutions for the property in order to maintain visibility of the property.
  • Oversee and create content, including text posts, video, and images for use on social media. Promote services and content over social media in a way that is consistent with our brand and social media strategy.
  • Manage the activities of direct report to ensure the timely achievement of department goals, within prescribed policies, procedures, and standard business practices; through the provision of regular feedback in the form of status meetings, performance appraisals, coaching and counseling, discipline, and the assignment of developmental opportunities.
  • Provide regular motivation and mentoring to all staff to encourage ongoing professional development

  • Interacts with external stakeholders in the community such as community groups/stakeholders, public officials, and governing agencies; collaborates with a number of CF stakeholders at the property level, various CF departments and senior leadership

_What you need to succeed:

  • Postsecondary education preferably in Business, Marketing or Public Relations
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a community engagement, marketing, communications, or public relations role
  • Knowledge of brand management; community outreach, marketing, and advertising theory; digital media; financial and budget management
  • Knowledge and experience with planning events an asset
  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
