Recreational Support Worker

Reena is a non-profit organization that has provided community services for people with developmental disabilities while promoting dignity, individuality, independence, personal growth and community inclusion within a framework of Jewish culture and values since 1973.


Reena is actively looking for seasonal part time casual Recreational Support Workers (RSW) to work within Reena's Community Outreach programs.

As a RSW, you would be providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities.


This is a great opportunity for University/College students looking for part time employment, with an opportunity for extensions and growth within the agency.


_Day Shifts, Evening Shifts, Weekday and/or Weekend Shifts available._

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in meeting their needs of daily living
  • Design and implement recreational based activities
  • Reinforce social and life skills
  • Participate in mandatory meetings and training

Qualifications:

  • Background related to child care, education, social work, psychology, social services, child and youth worker
  • Selfmotivated and willing to learn
  • Flexible and adaptive to change
