Job Duties Job Duties This position provides in-person instruction on the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Moose Jaw Campus.Provide instruction to students enrolled in the Business programs.Design and implement a student-centered classroom using an outcome-based approach.Be flexible and responsive to learner needs through the use of appropriate instructional methodologies.Manage the classroom to ensure an optimum learning environment.Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community.Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students.Respond to curriculum/course demands and make necessary adjustments according to learner needs such as adult learning principles.Develop new curriculum as needed.Be reflective of and responsive to accommodation of individual learning needs, including equity groups and diverse learners.Where required, develop working relationships with appropriate external partners and employers, supporting students in working experience.Pursue professional development opportunities to keep current with employer and educational requirements.Work co-operatively in an interdependent team environment.Follow the policies and procedures adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.Attend program and school meetings.Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA) Professional Accounting Designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA) (Canada).Recent/relevant work experience (2 years in the last 5) in an accountancy related business environment.Effective communication skills (written and oral).Effective instructional ability.Effective interpersonal, skills.Demonstrates valuing diversity.Ability to work as a team member and foster teamworkDemonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and/or the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
