Our Group Benefits business is focused on creating an experience that is easy and meaningful to our clients. Group Benefits serves the needs of Plan sponsors, members and market sources, helping make Canadians healthier and organizations stronger.


The Plan Sponsor Administration team links people, technology and expert services to simplify group benefits administration and provide a consistent, powerful member and client experience.

Our team supports our Group Benefits clients, coordinating efforts to provide world class benefits administration and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with the client and the client's payroll provider to establish a payroll feed, set up the payroll interface(s) record keeping system and confirm integrity of test files sent during implementation.
  • Participate in internal and external payroll project team meetings.
  • Focus on escalated payroll plans and issues that are impacting the implementation timeline and ensure they are resolved before handing off to the inforce payroll team.
  • Process payrolls and serve as main payroll contact for "live" clients that have not yet transitioned to the inforce payroll administration team.
  • Act in a project manager role and have ownership of inforce plan payroll provider changes.
  • Attend training as required to stay current with system and product enhancements and process changes or improvements.
  • Assist with procedure development and management.
  • Act as the point of contact for escalated requests from both internal and external customers.
  • Identify client needs, issues and perceptions and develop action plans to ensure a positive client and member experience.

Delivering payroll files to clients on time with accuracy contributes to the overall success and top tier service we provide our clients.
