Duties:

  • Estimating the cost of small to large scale projects
  • Monitoring and executing projects efficiently and effectively including going to job sites
  • Procures costs and ensures materials, equipment and labor are utilized most efficiently and effectively
  • Manage the permit and inspection process and attending and conducting progress meetings
  • Maintain daily paperwork, extra work orders, change orders and keep the owner updated on important issues
  • Meeting with management for status updates and insights

Position Requirements:

1 year of experience required in estimating and project managing:

Civil engineer education preferred:

Must be willing to work on-site:

  • Must be organized
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Must be willing to commute to work
  • Must be willing to work safely in a team environment
  • Must be willing to learn

Other Requirements:

  • Is committed to doing quality work the first time with little or no need for rework
  • Is deadline driven, punctual and respects other people's time
  • Proficient knowledge of WorkSafeBC standards and policies
  • A valid BC driver's license (class 5)
  • First Aid would be an asset

Salary:

$24.00-$30.00 per hour
