Marketing
Bayview Wildwood Resort markets itself as a Historical Lakeside Resort which offers a range of vacations and getaway options.


Throughout our peak season which runs from the middle of May until the middle of October, we specialize in offering all-inclusive leisure and meeting packages which include lakeside accommodation, meals, and leisure activities including kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, swimming, boating and more.

Meeting packages also include lakeside meeting space, daily break baskets and coffee, AV Equipment and access to the onsite resort facilities.


The resort remains open year round and offers winter activities such as cross country skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing, skating and more.

Our marketing and social media would include highlighting our resort activities and onsite amenities. Using Facebook, Instagram and our website to tell a "story" about the experiences offered at our property.

We are hoping to continue to grow our brand on all social media platforms and develop more content to use for future marketing practices.


Responsibilities and Duties:


Will create strategic social media campaigns that focus on building and protecting a positive brand image, creating loyalty among fans, and driving new leads for the Resort.

The full suite of social media services will include:

  • Social Strategy Development

  • Social Media Advertising
  • Community Engagement

General:

  • Become familiar with and follow company policies and regulatory requirements outlined in the employee manual.
  • Contribute to professional, constructive relationships with fellow team members, and a safe, respectful, harassmentfree, workplace.
  • Practice excellent customer service and professional communication with guests (using the 10/5 rule), team members, and persons who interact with the operation of the resort.

Social Media

  • Oversee and create social media content for Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and other platforms as directed by the General Manager.
  • Effectively communicate with followers, answering questions about the property and directing to other resort departments or channels as needed.
  • Under the direction of the General Manager, build a successful plan and schedule to assist in growing the brand and the number of followers on each platform.
  • Attend events, weddings, conferences, recreational activities, dining experiences, and more to build content for social media platforms.
  • Ensure all posts created are done professionally without any spelling or grammatical errors always showing the property in a positive manner.

Search Engine Optimization

  • Work with our web provider to ensure we are maximizing our Search Engine Optimization based on the budget permitted.
  • Including but limited to keyword research, SEO audit and Consulting.

Website Updates

  • Work with the Website Provider, General Manager and BWR Management Team to post any required updates to the website.
  • Develop the blog page and create more content pertaining to Weddings, Events and the other resort experiences.

Digital Content & Video

  • Plan, produce, and promote content that drives audience engagement and conversions. Including Digital Content Strategy, Content Production, Video Production, Graphic Design

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualifications:

Must have:

  • Secondary school diploma or vocational equivalent.
  • Diploma or other certifications in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Marketing or similar.
  • One year experience in a similar role front office, security, retail environment.
  • Competence in common software and computer skills; including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Competence using and posting on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, Youtube

Desirable:

  • Hotel, Resort or Hospitality Experience
  • Experience using a hotel or resort property management system.

Abilities:

  • A team player who listens well and cooperates in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Communicate clearly and comprehensibly in English, orally and written, with team members and customers
