**Job description**:

- Since 1992, Lagoon Seafood a family business has established itself in the seafood industry as a Canadian leader in the distribution, import, export, and processing of fresh and frozen products._

Currently we are looking to fill the role of a Food Service Account Manager based out of the GTA to join our team.

**The Role In More Details**:

- Achieve the KPI's and expected sales results in the assigned geographic region by selling and managing distributors and selling to end-user operators.
- The sales approach will be based on identifying product solutions that provide superior value and understanding the customer's business needs.
- Develop and create impactful presentations, proven solutions.
- Manage geographically selected distribution partners, cultivate positive working relationships, and manage local marketing programmes and development. Expand and develop our distribution network.
- Develop and implement an annual sale and marketing plan in collaboration with each channel partner to expand sales opportunities for FML products and achieve profitable revenue growth.
- Ensure new products are effectively introduced to channel partners to achieve desired revenue goals.
- Attend and participate in trade shows and other sales events.
- Develop distribution and sales support activities to end user customers manage local and national distribution programs and ensure they are structured and achieve expected results.
- Develop and continuously pursue a list of qualified leads for new and users, meet current and potential customer, understand customer needs, and propose product solutions,
- follow up with potential and existing customers in order to develop new business opportunities through value added selling.
- Work with customers and internal staff to complete the necessary work to "close sales ", manage current and potential end -user accounts and relationships.
- Maintain and update sales activity-related databases and sales support systems.
- Monitor competition by collecting current market information or product pricing, new products, and provide management with written and verbal updates.
- Carry out other sales related duties as directed by the sales director.

**SKILLS**:
The ability to build solid relationship, excellent communication, listening, questioning, and survey skills, demonstrated to use consultative and persuasive selling skills.

**Analytical Skills**:
Able to assess a situation and outline an action plan ability to understand the financial impact of options and decisions, the urgency ability feeling to" close a sale",

Negotiation skills, organizational proven and planning skills.

High level of personal initiative, energy, and ownership of success an autodidact.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
Bachelor's degree in business
- sales, Marketing, Culinary school, Food service Management.

A minimum of 10 years of sales experience, primarily in food service.

Gérer les partenaires de distribution sélectionnés dans la région géographique;
développer des relations de travail positives et gérer les programmes et le développement du marketing local.

Élaborer et mettre en œuvre un plan annuel de vente et de marketing en collaboration avec chaque partenaire de distribution afin d'élargir les opportunités de vente des produits FML et d'atteindre une croissance rentable des revenus.

Veiller à ce que les nouveaux produits soient efficacement présentés aux partenaires de distribution afin d'atteindre les objectifs de revenue souhaités.

Organiser et soutenir les évènements et les activités de marketing au besoin pour soutenir la réalisation des objectifs commerciaux dans la région géographique.

Travailler avec les partenaires de distribution pour résoudre les problèmes et préoccupations en suspens.
