We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Communications Specialist to join our team.

As a key member of our communications department, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our corporate communications strategy, working closely with the Director of Corporate Communications and stakeholders across the business.


Key Responsibilities:

Internal Communications**:

  • Be an internal communications champion—Develop, curate and manage internal bilingual communication content in partnership with key stakeholders across various internal communications channels.
  • Manage communications planning through editorial calendar.
  • Execute on various internal communication strategies to foster employee engagement and alignment with company objectives.
  • Leverage analytics to gather insights on internal communication initiatives performance.
  • Organize and manage companywide town hall meetings and ongoing initiatives and events.
  • Other internal communications tasks as required.

External Communications:

  • Help make the Stella-Jones brand shine—Collaborate with web developers and designers to update content and implement punctual website edits and improvements, ensuring it is uptodate, userfriendly, and reflective of the brand.
  • Manage and update the company's social media profiles to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create and curate engaging content, including text, images, and videos.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and manage online reputation.
  • Analyze social media analytics and metrics to track the performance of social media campaigns and make datadriven improvements.
  • Collaborate with product category teams to create meaningful content and promotional campaign materials for print and online media.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 57years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related roles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Experience with design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, Adobe is an asset.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office software suite.
  • Familiarity with marketing and communications tools and software to assist in the creation and deployment of communications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignments in a fastpaced environment.
  • Detailoriented with strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Experience working within a publicly traded company is an asset.
  • Understanding of industry trends and best practices in corporate communications.
