    JOB OVERVIEW
  • Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and resultsdriven professional to join our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Corporate Card Department in the role of Financial Processing Analyst.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where you will contribute to OPG's public outreach, engagement and education efforts as part of the company's commitment to growing its social license.
    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Complete monthly and/or quarterly Accounts Payable reporting for external audit and other needs/stakeholders as required.
  • Assist in the development, enhancement and maintenance of systems and automated robot software to support activities of the department's systems and processes.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of procedures and systems. In addition, assist in the provision of technical advice and guidance where required.
  • Coordinate and participate in projects and initiatives which optimize and reengineer current business processes.
  • Carry out special studies, analysis, compilations and reporting on specific AP/AR/Corp Card business activities.
  • Provide recommendations and deliver formal presentations to senior management.
  • Other duties as required.

EDUCATION

  • University Degree Finance, Accounting or related field

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years working in a similar capacity role.
  • Experience with financial reporting, analysis and reconciliation.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a flexible hybrid office environment.
  • Experience with financial systems used at OPG (SAP, Asset Suite, PowerBI, Ariba) is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Sound professional judgment and decision making, critical thinking, attention to detail and creative problemsolving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, experience in maintaining productive relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and communicate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels of the company.
  • Ability to work in a crossfunctional environment.
  • A resultsoriented focus is essential, as is the ability to work in a fastpaced changing environment and effectively managing several projects simultaneously.
