Position Overview


The Sales Operations Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Strategic Partnerships team, ensuring smooth and efficient sales and purchasing transactions.

The role involves executing transactions and seeing them through to completion, data management, shipment tracking and verification, as well as report generation.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills.

The Sales Operations Coordinator will be based in our Toronto office and report to the Director of Feedstock.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales and purchase transactions, handle order processing, and manage data entry for both sales and purchases, ensuring orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Coordinate with strategic partnerships, finance, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of feedstock and products, and to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities.
  • Interface with third-party logistics companies to arrange complex shipments.
  • Negotiate with multiple logistics suppliers to optimize pricing.
  • Arrange paperwork, including invoicing, customs documentation, shipping documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and purchase activities, customer interactions, and transactions in ERP and CRM systems.
  • Generate regular sales and procurement reports for management review.
  • Ensure all sales and purchasing activities comply with company policies, processes, and regulations.
  • Maintain and update customer and supplier records and documentation.
  • Assist Strategic Partnerships team with administrative tasks such as preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required within the team

What You Will Bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 0-3 years of experience in sales and/or purchasing administration or a similar role. Experience in recycling or metals industries is a plus.
  • Experience with shipping and third-party logistics is a plus.
  • Experience with customs paperwork a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM software and/or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a start-up environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a passion for providing exceptional service.
