A career as Senior Director of Disaster Recovery in the ITSM and Disaster Recovery Operations team at National Bank means being the leader of a team working in the field of operational resilience in case of disasters.

It is through your ability to develop strong collaborative relationships across all areas of the Bank, and specifically, with the various IT and BCM partners, that you have a positive impact on the delivery of the Bank's objectives.


Your role:
  • Ensure the development and ongoing maintenance of Disaster Recovery procedures and tools to support compliance with OSFI's requirements
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of services proposed by your team and assess the impact on their evolution
  • Provide leadership in terms of continuous improvement for all of the team's processes and ensure an overall enhancement of DR execution by the Delivery Towers
  • Ensure evolution of processes and practices to keep pace with changes in technology, business, and regulations
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with IT and BCM stakeholders to enhance disaster recovery capabilities
  • Manage, coach, and mobilize a dynamic team of professionals
  • Act as a leader in the vision and strategy of transformation


Your team:

Within the Disaster Recovery sector, you are part of a team of 4 colleagues, and you report to the Senior Director ITSM and DR Operations.

Prerequisites:

Bachelor's degree related to the industry and five years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in the IT sector and three years of relevant experience

Experience in personnel management and process improvement

Knowledge of Jira, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and cloud technology is desirable

Demonstrated relational skills and influence

Profile desired: positive, innovative, and committed leader with an ability to mobilize a team towards a common goal
