Anticipated period of assignment : July 2 - July 19, 2024

Vacancy Details: 55 hours in total (15 days of supporting students through learning for 3 hours per day; 7.5 hours professional duties; 2.5 hours of training to occur the week of June 24th)

District School Board Ontario North East is providing a Summer Learning Program for mathematics and language for students in Grade Kindergarten to Grade 6. The program includes the delivery of interactive and engaging lessons through in-person learning in the Central and Southern Regions and virtual learning board-wide. Learning will take place 3 hours daily. Your role would be to support instruction by working with an individual or small groups of students on specific skills. Positions are subject to student registration.

Virtual Learning (Board-wide): 1 Educational Assistant to support with

Grade 4 – 6 Math and Language (English)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Educational Assistant Diploma

Fluent in French (French Immersion positions)

ALTERNATE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in supporting programming above

REMUNERATION: $21.76/hour
