We are continuing to grow and are searching for a
Baker.

As a Baker at COBS Bread, you will:

  • Work with other Bakers and the Production Manager to ensure the bread quality and range is to COBS Bread standards and delivered on time to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain the safety of staff and customers by upholding the COBS Bread brand and standards.
  • Be assigned an initial designated area of responsibility (Bowl, Bench, or Ovens) and will crossfunctionally train and learn all three areas.
  • Assist with stock rotation.
  • Provide delightful customer service.
  • Provide support to the whole bakery team, demonstrate team work and foster good working relationships.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work work weekends
  • Preference given to those with College Diploma in Bakery and Pastry Arts or working towards completion of program
  • Valid Food Safety Course and/or First Aid Training Certificate is valued but not required

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 24-40 per week

Salary:
$18.00-$21.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abbotsford, BC V2T 4V1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Baking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • FoodSafe (preferred)
  • First Aid Certification (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Night Shift (required)
