Baker - Gladwin Road

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND NIGHT SHIFT (start time 12:00 am-12:30am)

We are continuing to grow and are searching for a **Baker. **The COBS Bread brand has been built on our commitment to the quality of our product, the development of our people and the delight which the combination of these two elements brings to our customers. **As a Baker at COBS Bread, you will**:

- Work with other Bakers and the Production Manager to ensure the bread quality and range is to COBS Bread standards and delivered on time to meet customer demands.
- Maintain the safety of staff and customers by upholding the COBS Bread brand and standards.
- Be assigned an initial designated area of responsibility (Bowl, Bench, or Ovens) and will cross-functionally train and learn all three areas.
- Assist with stock rotation.
- Provide delightful customer service.
- Provide support to the whole bakery team, demonstrate team work and foster good working relationships.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must be able to work work weekends
- Preference given to those with College Diploma in Bakery and Pastry Arts - or working towards completion of program
- Valid Food Safety Course and/or First Aid Training Certificate is valued but not required

Part-time hours: 24-40 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Baking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- FoodSafe (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
