Your role:

  • Plan delivery and pickup routes using a TMS for Eastern Canada
  • Plan LBM deliveries manually for the Quebec region
  • Enhance TMS usage by contributing to the improvement of its quality and processes
  • Manage trailer overflow, manage addons and prioritize loading schedule
  • Inform customers and suppliers of transportation procedures
  • Maintain the delivery schedules in the system
  • Ensure that transportation operations are smoothly executed by Lowe's Canada carriers
  • Provide service to Lowe's Canada's customers and suppliers
  • Ensure communication between shipping and receiving for transportation equipment
  • Ensure carriers are paid in the Freight Pay system

The qualifications we are looking for:

  • College degree in transportation and logistics
  • Three years of relevant transportation experience
  • Knowledge of Canadian geography
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to resolve operational problems
  • Cando attitude and resultsdriven approach
  • Team player attitude
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (an important asset)
  • Good logístical problemsolving skills
  • Good negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure in a frequently changing environment
  • Customer service experience
  • Available to do replacements on different shifts
