De quelle façon ce rôle a-t-il une incidence sur l'organisation?

S'appuyant sur son expérience à titre d'adjoint ou d'adjointe au sein d'une société de services financiers, la personne retenue sera un membre responsable et motivé au sein de l'équipe. La personne retenue sera une personne axée sur les résultats et désireuse de développer ses compétences et son expérience dans un contexte de marchés financiers. La personne idéale, qui s'appuiera sur son expérience antérieure, aura une capacité éprouvée de prendre des initiatives et possédera des compétences exceptionnelles en communication écrite et verbale ainsi qu'en matière de présentation.

De quoi le titulaire de ce poste sera-t-il responsable?

  • soutenir les activités quotidiennes de l'équipe de ventes et de négociations à nos bureaux de Montréal;
  • répondre aux appels téléphoniques, acheminer les messages et fournir des informations de routine aux appelants;
  • faire des réservations de voyage, d'hôtel et de transport terrestre pour l'équipe, au besoin;
  • préparer et soumettre des comptes de frais pour les équipes de ventes et de négociations;
  • tenir à jour des bases de données, des registres et des fichiers pour assurer le fonctionnement efficace du service;
  • aider l'équipe de ventes et de négociations à fournir en temps opportun des services confidentiels et professionnels à tous les clients, tant internes qu'externes;
  • aider les équipes nord-américaines d'accès aux entreprises à tenir le calendrier des événements et les tournées promotionnelles des entreprises régionales et des analystes;
  • apporter son aide lors des conférences et événements spéciaux;
  • organiser des déjeuners et des dîners lors des réunions internes et des rencontres avec les clients;
  • accomplir d'autres tâches qui lui sont assignées.

  • travailler de façon indépendante et en équipe;
  • faire preuve de tact et de discrétion dans le traitement des informations confidentielles;
  • communiquer efficacement en français et en anglais;
  • études postsecondaires;
  • minimum de deux ans d'expérience dans un rôle administratif dans le secteur des services financiers, des services bancaires d'investissement ou au service des finances d'une entreprise.

Institutional Sales Assistant & Marketing Coordinator

How does the role impact the organization?

Drawing on previous experience as an Assistant in a financial services firm, the successful candidate is a responsible, self-motivated team player. The successful candidate will be a results-oriented individual with a keen interest in developing their skills and experience in a capital markets environment. Drawing on previous experience, the ideal candidate will have a proven ability to take initiative and possess exceptional written & verbal communication and presentation skills.

What will your role be responsible for?

  • Support the daily activities of the Sales and Trading team in Montreal;
  • Answer telephones, route callers, take messages and provide routine information to callers;
  • Book travel arrangements, hotels and ground transportation for the team as required;
  • Prepare and submit expense reports for sales and trading teams;
  • Maintain databases, records and files for efficient operation of the department;
  • Assist the Sales & Trading team in providing timely, confidential and professional service to all clients both internal and external;
  • Assist the North American Corporate Access teams with the Events Calendar and regional corporate and analyst roadshows;
  • Assist with Conferences & Special Events
  • Arrange breakfasts and lunches for internal and client meetings
  • Other duties as assigned.

What do we expect from you?

  • Fundamental knowledge of investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry;
  • CRM tools is an asset;
  • Professionalism with superior organizational and administrative skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a willingness and ability to learn new applications;
  • Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks with accuracy;
  • Work within deadlines in a high-volume and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail;

  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment;
  • Exercise tact and discretion in the handling of confidential information;
  • Communicate proficiently in English and French.
  • Post-secondary education; and
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role in the financial services / investment banking / corporate finance industry.
