Snow Cat Operator- Groomer

Under the direction of the Grooming Team Lead, this roll is a key member of the Grooming team. Ensuring the snow grooming equipment is operated safety and in accordance with the company procedures, manufacturers operating procedures and departmental training. This roll works cooperatively with other team member and other dividends and continually strives to provide our guests the finest mountain recreational experience by providing safe and well-maintained terrain.

You will:

· Safely operate grooming equipment, completing pre and post trip inspections of machinery.

· Groom, maintain and rebuild ski runs.

· Build and maintain lift entries.

· Communicate effectively with all departments regarding operations.

· Comply with all departments and company policies and procedures.

· Perform daily light maintenance (Refueling, topping up fluids, greasing and cleaning interior and exterior)

· Complete log sheets.

· Recognize and report any unusual noises and conditions to the Maintenance team.

· Be an advocate for health and safety.

· Work flexible shifts, including afternoons, evening, holidays, and weekends.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

You:

· Have previous experience operating snow grooming equipment, with an excellent safety record.

· Are mechanically inclined, with an understanding of basic operations and maintenance of equipment.

· Have a basic understanding of mountain report maintenance and ski / snowboarding terrain needs.

· Are team-oriented with a desire to make a positive contribution to the entire resort.

· Possess excellent communications skills and work well with a diverse range of people.
