The pharmacy presents a unique opportunity to work in a Retail environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant looking to advance their career and service a variety of clientele

Job Description
Assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.
data entry of patient information.
Blister packaging.
Greeting Patients and communicating with care homes/customer.
Third party adjudication.
Maintenance of pharmacy inventories, through the ordering, receiving, and rotating of stock and supplies.
Compounding of prescriptions
Handling customer prescription pick up.
Assist in the preparation of prescriptions.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills:
Above average communication skills (both oral and written)
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Education and Experience:
Pharmacy Assistant experience is an asset.
Experience with Kroll is an asset.
Flexible schedule days, evenings, weekends and holidays
