Stayner IDA is welcoming applications for a positive and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant looking for the opportunity to join the established pharmacy team in Stayner, ON.

The pharmacy presents a unique opportunity to work in a Retail environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant looking to advance their career and service a variety of clientele

*Job Description*
* Assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.
* data entry of patient information.
* Blister packaging.
* Greeting Patients and communicating with care homes/customer.
* Third party adjudication.
* Maintenance of pharmacy inventories, through the ordering, receiving, and rotating of stock and supplies.
* Compounding of prescriptions
* Handling customer prescription pick up.
* Assist in the preparation of prescriptions.
* Other duties as assigned.

*Job Requirements*

Technical Skills:
* Above average communication skills (both oral and written)
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Education and Experience:
* Pharmacy Assistant experience is an asset.
* Experience with Kroll is an asset.
* Flexible schedule days, evenings, weekends and holidays
