Randstad is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team. As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for designing, building, and repairing precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and proficiency with various tools and equipment.

The candidate will be offer a competitive salary of $65k to $90k, depending on skills and experience
Location is accesible to transit with a schedule of 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, plus occasional overtime (if require)

Responsibilities
Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications to create precision tools and dies.
Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines
Inspect finished tools and dies for accuracy and quality.
Troubleshoot and repair existing tools and dies as needed.
Collaborate with production staff to ensure tools and dies meet production requirements.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications
Strong background with Lathe, CNC Milling and EDM Wire
Has experience with Mastercam and Solidworks
Has strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of tooling principles
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Great mathematical and analytical skills for measurements and calculations
