About us
The Transit Delivery and Partnerships Branch provides strategic oversight of the delivery, municipal partnerships and engagement strategies for provincial transit projects in the Greater Golden Horseshoe, including key outcomes such as community benefits, governance frameworks, agreements and operational strategies. Projects include priority transit projects, rapid transit projects, GO Expansion and Smart Track.

The Transit Partnerships Office develops enabling engagement, governance and agreement frameworks to work with municipal partners to advance provincial transit projects. We lead the implementation of the Ontario-Toronto and Ontario-York Region Transit Partnerships and municipal relations associated with Metrolinx projects and lead partnership policies, including the implementation of the Building Transit Faster Act, 2020 and Indigenous relations on Metrolinx transit projects.

What can I expect to do in this role?In this role, you will:
• Plan and conduct research and analytical studies and data analysis related to the development of transit and transportation program delivery initiatives and strategic policy development
• Process payments for funding program recipients
• Build and maintain cooperative relationships with internal and external partners
• Prepare reports, briefing notes, house notes, tour notes, and communication information that address specific transportation, land development, socio-economic and/or environmental issues

How do I qualify?Policy and ProgramYou have:
• Experience with policy analysis and procedures
• Experience with program development and implementation
• Experience in using policy and research tools, methods and techniques
