Responsibilities
⢠Conduct thorough reviews of specifications and drawings
⢠Develop material labour take-offs
⢠Coordinate price packages with suppliers, subcontractors, owners, designers and architects ⢠Review estimates with the Project Managers
⢠Prepare proposals by organizing all material, equipment, labor, and subcontract costs needed to complete the project
⢠Coordinate with Purchasing and other departments to assist with building quotes ⢠Track all bids, proposals and regularly communicate with Project Managers and other colleagues as needed
⢠May assist with business development or new customer generation
⢠Attend kick off meetings
⢠Maintain and analyze reports
Qualifications
⢠1-3 years of experience in a similar industry
â¢Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Environmental field from a University or College of recognized standing
⢠Strong verbal and written communication skills
⢠Proven ability to meet deadlines/successful completion of deliverables.
⢠Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
⢠Ability to communicate and work well with other team members and clients and manage expectations.
⢠Excellent time management and coordination skills
⢠Ability to follow health and safety protocol and assess potential safety issues at site.
