Responsibilities for Sales Assistant

  • Conduct free tastings on supermarkets/clients' stores
  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads
  • Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
  • Track all sales activities
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Meet and/or exceed quotas
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort
  • Educating prospects on products through calls
  • Learning the wants and needs of customers
  • Negotiating purchasing terms with clients or customers
  • Find new sales leads through client referrals or cold calling

Qualifications for Sales Representative

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field or equivalent in experience
  • 1 year of sales experience
  • Good prospecting skills
  • Have a knack for selling
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Self-assured
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French
  • Ability to work independently with or without supervision
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferably someone who can drive or have his/her own car.
