The Opportunity


As an Accounting Associate, you will help make financial decisions by collecting, tracking, correcting, and communicating the financial position of the organization. You will record transactions, compile and analyze data, perform audits, assist with budgets and financial forecasting, compute taxes, and report their findings to management and other entities.



The successful candidate will work out of our Fredericton office.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing Accounts Payable/Receivable, payments, month-end close including accruals, GL reconciliation, checks and controls, review AP aging, monthly reporting, and bank reconciliation.
  • Verify receipts, income tax returns, financial statements, ledgers, and other documents pertaining to finances within an organization
  • Analyze corporate TB accounts and analyze the variance with budget
  • Develop reporting standards for future use within the organization
  • Prepare audit reports
  • Timely and accurate analysis and posting of transactions.
  • Fixed asset management and assist in tracking progress of capital projects, accounting and closure

Education & Experiance


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • CPA Certification or enrolled in CPA preferred
