Heating Service Technician

Your Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot oil and propane-fired boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and oil tanks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems that occur by reviewing diagnostics and using the proper tools to complete repairs.
- Provide final inspections of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely.
- Complete appropriate daily paperwork for each service call.
- Maintain daily and yearly inventory.
- Ensure the service truck is in good working order and reliable.
- Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity.
- Rotational on call evenings and weekends.
Your Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, with a customer service focus
- Ability to install and service various types of heating equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
Your Experience:
- A valid Gas Technician license is required, dual licensing (Oil and Gas) is an asset.
- Knowledge of wiring, plumbing and some air conditioning is required.
- 5-10 years of experience is preferred.
