Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and update ledgers on a regular basis.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Monitor and track expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and financial audits as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
