Director of Housing, Programs and Services

The Director of Housing, Programs and Services is a newly created Senior Management position providing strategic direction to ensure the success of all operational plans conducted at the Housing/Shelters, Youth and Family, and Outreach programs. Relationship building and collaboration is critical to the success of the position internally balanced with strong and credible relationships with Service Providers in the Community.

Candidate requirements will have:

Master's degree in Business, Leadership or Social Services required 5-7 years direct experience working in a Leadership capacity delivering services to individuals living with mental illness, substance use and or homelessness, ideally in a nonprofit Agency Strong, proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to identify trends, establish benchmarks, and provide credible analyses and business recommendations Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to professionally connect with and influence a diverse group of individuals Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead projects and work with diverse individuals to identify issues, design solutions, and evaluate results

Experienced in:

Housing continuum, including market, subsidized and supported systems BC health care and social services system BC Housing programs, processes and systems Criminal record check with vulnerable populations required
