About Us:

We are seeking a Maitre D who is not only a master of hospitality but also a community builder. Our Maitre D will be responsible for creating personalized and memorable experiences for our guests, ensuring they feel welcome, valued, and understood from their first impression to their last.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Guest Relations: Know our guests by name, their preferences, and personal information to create tailored experiences that exceed their expectations.
- First and Last Impression: Serve as the face of the restaurant, greeting guests warmly upon arrival and bidding them farewell with a genuine appreciation for their patronage.
- Community Building: Foster a sense of belonging and connection among our guests, building relationships and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and word-of-mouth referrals.
- Supportive Role: Assist the sales coordinator in servicing groups, promoting the private dining room, and facilitating seamless events.
- Internal Promotions: Collaborate with the communications coordinator to promote internal events and initiatives, as well as maintain relationships with hotel concierges to drive reservations.
- Reservation Management: Utilize OpenTable to its full potential, managing reservations effectively to optimize seating arrangements and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Team Support: Offer assistance to the wait staff as needed, helping them to understand and anticipate guest needs while maintaining the highest level of service.

- Previous experience in a hospitality-focused role, preferably as a Maitre D or in a similar capacity.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building rapport and creating memorable experiences.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver exceptional service.
- Proficiency in reservation management systems such as OpenTable.
