CareCorp Senior Services are a trusted agency company who provide superior healthcare, food services, housekeeping and laundry service to long-term care and assisted living facilities across BC. We are looking for a confident Talent Acquisition Specialist with strong communication skills to join our recruitment team in our corporate office on Robson Street.

Position Details: Permanent Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday ()
.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement overall recruiting strategy that aligns with Corporate objectives and values;
Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications in collaboration with senior leadership;
Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives;
Partner with all stakeholders (managers, schedulers, senior leadership) to determine recruitment and utilization needs;
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate social media accounts, job board/newspapers/colleges etc.;
Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, job boards/newspapers/colleges, etc.;
Screen candidates resumes and job applications;
Conduct interviews or coordinate interviews with hiring manager;
Conduct reference checks, process criminal record checks and prepare offers of employment;
Coordinate the onboarding process with the other members of the Human Resources Department and hiring managers;
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices;
Ensures compliance with, and adheres to, all CareCorp Seniors Services polices and procedures;
Other tasks as assigned.

Skills / Qualifications:
Post secondary diploma in a related field;
One year recent related experience;
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
Ability to perform complete work with a high degree of accuracy while performing multiple tasks;
