Act as a resource person for managers and employees for all payroll questions via email and telephone Processing, validating, preparing and sending ROEs, etc. for terminations Processing of files from lawyers or other sources as required Preparation of weekly and monthly remittances (DAS - payment of various unions - meals - etc) Preparing year-end T2200s Answer questions and prepare financial information related to payroll, CSST, employment insurance, unions, etc. Carrying out checks and verifications before the end of the payroll period - payroll processing is carried out on a weekly basis (3 different payroll cycles) QualificationsTo join our team, you need:
DEC in administration or a field relevant to HR, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar position; Membership in good standing with the Canadian Payroll Association (Level 1, an asset); Experience in high-volume payroll production in a large company (an asset); Good knowledge of an integrated human resources system, ideally Workday, or equivalent (SAP, Ceridian, ADP, etc). Very good knowledge of Excel; Written and spoken English and French as in your daily tasks you will interact with internal clients across Canada.
