TalentWorld is recruiting a payroll accounting technician position for GardaWorld in Montreal. It’s a Hybrid position and you will have the opportunity to integrate a great team and work with multiple divisions across Canada

Responsibilities of the payroll accounting technician position:

  • Produce payroll for approximately 1,000 unionized and non-unionized employees, verify and submit payroll
  • Make changes to employee files (creation of new employees, salary adjustment, change of address, departure, etc.)
  • Track payments and adjustments
  • Generate payroll reports and verify hours and applicable rates according to collective agreements; make the necessary corrections in the operational system
  • Invoice certain contracts
  • Accomplish all other related tasks
Requirements for the payroll accounting technician position:
  • DEC in administrative techniques, accounting or any other relevant training;
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in payroll processing / administration / accounting;
  • Bilingualism (English and French oral and written);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate/advanced Excel);
  • Good analytical mind
Conditions of employment for the payroll accounting technician position:
  • Permanent
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm; Hybrid (3 days remote)
