-Start: ASAP
-Estimated length: 6 months
-Location: Mississauga
-Hybrid role- 2.5 days in office, Tuesday and Thursday required.

Responsibilities
â Provide GIS support to the enterprise including mapping, spatial analysis, data management,
visualizations and technical support.
â Work with a team to build and maintain a functional enterprise GIS System.
â Contribute to business development activities including proposals, client meetings and
presentations.
â Build and maintain map templates, layers, and symbol sets for GIS users.
â Use ETL/Integration technology to convert between common spatial data formats and integrate
existing data structures and software.
â Generate and maintain GIS workflow and process documentation.
â Gather, compile, migrate and convert data sets for project needs from a variety of internal and
external sources
â Test new GIS software for its ability to fit documented workflows and user needs.
â A commitment to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development

Qualifications
â Bachelorâs degree in GIS discipline
â Certification in GIS technology / software
â Minimum of 2-5 yearsâ professional experience.
â Demonstrated abilities in use of ESRI GIS software (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online , ArcGIS
Enterprise, and supporting applications )
â Understanding of common spatial data structures, formats, and terminology including ESRI
Geodatabase and Google KML
â Experience in data conversion, database management, and GIS digitization and analysis
â Working experience developing and implementing GIS solutions, especially in the areas of
productivity, QA/QC, mobile data capture, geospatial analysis, spatial ETL and workflow
automation would be an asset.
â Experience with Python or equivalent scripting or programming languages
â Understanding of basic SQL and enterprise RDBMS systems
â Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities

NICE TO HAVE:
â Working knowledge of the following programs would be considered an asset: PowerBI, Tableau,
and CARTO
