At CAE, our teams are committed to make sure that our simulators are systematically installed respecting the cost and quality objectives and as per the allocated schedule, ensuring customerâs delight. Thatâs why we need your expertise and passion to complete our team

 

The role we are offering you:

 

By taking this role, you will have the opportunity to be directly involved in all phases of the projectâs physical installation and you will also participate in the group management. The group includes the following teams:

 

  • Building requirements specialists
  • Installation supervisors
  • Installation support
  • Flight Controls and Motion Technicians
  • Administrative Support

 

Are you ready to be involved in the following tasks?

 

  • Project management. Supervise the assigned projects realization by regularly following:
  • Each project specific requirements
  • The work progress in Montréal or at the customer site
  • Quick show stoppers and Snag resolution
  • The associated budget and expenses (via Planisware)
  • Resources assignments

 

  • Group leading:
    • Meet the teams to provide pertinent work information and encourage sharing good practices and efficient processes
    • Have regular one-on-one meetings with the employees
    • Ensure the team members have the required tools to do the work efficiently
    • Encourage and guide the employees in their professional growth
    • Prepare year-end talent and compensation review

 

  • Health and Safety responsibility for in-field installations:
  • Ensure environment conformity (âRAMSâ) and people conformity (training) in the field.
  • Put in place rules and processes.
  • Key Performance Indicators results follow-up.

 

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Strong experience in project and people management experience.
  • Quick adaptability to changes.
  • Availability for occasional projects progress and team members follow-up outside standard working hours.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
  • Strong leadership in decision taking
  • Determination to challenge existing processes to encourage continuous improvements
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment physical installation (flight simulators) is an asset.
  • Experience in Health and Safety at work is an asset.
