Up to 4 Casual Positions
G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre is recruiting for up to 4 casual Skate Instructors who will be responsible for providing direct instruction, leadership and program management. This includes planning and preparing assigned programs; instructing assigned classes; evaluating participants; record keeping and public relations.
Requirements include completion of Grade 10; three months experience in skating instruction; a satisfactory police information check; and Emergency First-Aid and CPR C, as required. Successful candidates will be required to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends and nights (hours/shifts are subject to change).
These are C.U.P.E. Local 2011 positions with a wage of $24.14 per hour plus 15% in lieu of benefits. Job description and competition information can be found at www.saanich.ca.
