The District of Saanich is seeking casual Skate Instructors to provide direct instruction, leadership, and program management at the G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre.

Up to 20 positions are available, working varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and nights.

Key responsibilities include planning and preparing assigned programs, instructing assigned classes, evaluating participants, and record keeping.

Requirements include completion of Grade 10, three months experience in skating instruction, a satisfactory police information check, and Emergency First-Aid and CPR C certification.

Successful candidates will be part of a C.U.P.E. Local 2011 position with a wage of $24.14 per hour plus 15% in lieu of benefits.
